How to use Teflon tape for water pipes

1. Clean the surface of the drying cylinder that needs to be pasted with tape, pay attention to the surface without iron filings and the surface is smooth.

 

2. Cut the tape a little longer than the required length (about 5CM longer than the required length) for use.

 

3. Tear off the release paper, pay attention to tearing and sticking it at the same time, do not tear it all at once. During the sticking process, you can use a piece of cloth (or newspaper) to rub and flatten the place where the tape is attached, and make sure that the tape is on both sides after sticking. overlapping together.  

4. Use a utility knife to draw a straight line in the middle of the overlap of the tapes.

5. After the Teflon tape is pasted, carefully check whether there are small air bubbles between the tape and the drying cylinder. If there is, you can use a sharp object such as a pin to remove the small air bubbles one by one, and flatten the tape at B to tear it off. Tape at C, and finally stick at B, and flatten the tapes at B and D.
